4 Marian students head to FBLA national competition

Four Marian High School students are preparing to compete at the National Future Business Leaders of America National Conference in June thanks to their performance at the state FBLA Leadership Conference.

The state event was held April 3 to 5 in Hershey, with more than 4,000 of Pennsylvania's best and brightest students showcasing their talent. The Marian FBLA chapter was represented by 25 students, with six students earning high honors. Only the top four students/teams in each category are eligible to participate in the national event. Marian's top finishers were: Aaron Srinivasan, Henry Kreisl and Michael Witczak, fourth place in Entrepreneurship; Joseph Maguschak, fourth place in Public Speaking II; Colin McCarrie, 10th place in E-Business; Kobie Arndt, 10th place in Computer Problem Solving.The FBLA's National Conference is scheduled for June 27 to July 2 in Anaheim, California.The Marian FBLA chapter is currently seeking sponsorships and donations, while also holding fundraising events, to provide the necessary funding to send students to the national event.
