Luncheon time changed

Members of the Jim Thorpe Class of 1964 will meet Wednesdayat the Mahoning Valley Country Club. The time for meeting has been changed until 1 p.m. This month those attending are reminded to wear something blue. A mystery guest is also planned and will be arriving at 1:30, so they are to bring their blindfolds also.Community dinnerSunday, has been set for the next free community dinner. It will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 21 Race St., from 4 to 6 p.m. This month it will be a picnic-style dinner. If you have any questions, please call 570-325-2241.Clothing drive meetingSt. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will be holding their annual clothing giveaway in August. A meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Mondayat the church for those willing to help in any way with the drive. Due to other commitments at the church, no clothing will be accepted until June 17 and after.
