Tamaqua's Fourth Annual Community Hunger Walk, originally scheduled for May 7, has been rescheduled for Sunday. The walk will begin at 2 p.m. from the St. Luke's parking lot between Pine and Railroad streets in Tamaqua.

Walkers should note the new starting point.Registration for the walk begins at 1:30 p.m.A fellowship and celebration time at the Tamaqua Community Art Center immediately follows the walk.Last year's Hunger Walk raised $6,300 and collected 83 boxes of food that was split evenly between food pantries at the Tamaqua Salvation Army, Trinity United Church of Christ and Primitive Methodist Church.The hunger walk is a project of the Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit under the umbrella of the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership.Hunger Walk registration and sponsorship forms are available online at
