Tamaqua police recently filed charges against several people.

• Dan Waldron, 34, who is homeless, was cited for disorderly conduct on May 1. He was charged after he spit in the face of a woman during an argument about trespassing and harassment in the area of Cedar Street.• Brett Himmelreich, 34, ofWest Broad Street, Tamaqua, and Joseph Chamoun, 60, of Tuscarora, were each cited after a landlord/tenant dispute on May 1. Himmelreich was cited for disorderly conduct, while Chamoun was cited for harassment.• Shawn Stintsman, 49, and Glenn Faust, 57, both ofMauch Chunk Street, Tamaqua, were each cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after a fight on May 3. A verbal argument between the men turned physical after they had a bit too much to drink.• Ryan A. Norton, 24, ofPine Street, Tamaqua, faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after he caused a disturbance at a neighbor's home. Norton was trying to enter the other person's home, thinking it was his. When he couldn't get inside, he yelled repeatedly for someone to let him in.Two marijuana pipes were found in his possession.
