Mahoning Township Police have charged three people in a raid on a Jamestown Street home on Friday afternoon.

Suspected carfentanil and other drugs were seized and two children under 6 were removed from the residence.At 4:30 p.m. Mahoning Township Police executed the search warrant on the 100 block of Jamestown Street, with the assistance of Carbon County Adult Probation, detectives and sheriff's offices, as well as Franklin Township Police, Lehighton Police, Pennsylvania State Police and a state police K-9.Police seized suspected carfentanil, heroin, methamphetamine, digital scales, dozens of baggies and syringes.Lab testing will be used to identify the suspected carfentanil.Carfentanil is a synthetic of fentanyl. It is 10,000 times more potent than morphine, making it among the most potent commercially used opioids. It is an anesthetic for large animals such as elephants.Amanda Stuckley, 33, who lived at that address, was placed in Carbon County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail for the following charges: criminal conspiracy-possession with intent to deliver, a felony and misdemeanor charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering welfare of children.Steven Mika, 31, of Weissport attempted to flee the residence. Mika was turned over to the sheriffs on a bench warrant, and he was placed in the Carbon County Correctional Facility. Charges are pending against Mika.Amanda Schleicher, 33, who also lived at the Jamestown residence, was placed in Carbon County Prison on $25,000 bail for the following misdemeanor charges: unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering welfare of children.Schleicher has also been charged for a March 7 traffic stop by Mahoning Township Police on Jamestown Street for a traffic violation. During the stop police seized 8.8 grams of heroin, 1.3 grams of cocaine, 0.027 grams of methamphetamine, suboxone, a digital scale, baggies, a food chopper, and $278. Schleicher was placed on an additional $50,000 bail for the following charges: possession with intent to deliver, a felony, three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, four counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Several substances were detected in her blood work.
