Cancer support group gets into Kentucky derby spirit

The Women's Cancer Support Group at Gnaden Huetten Hospital got in the spirit of the Kentucky Derby last week for its regular meeting.

About a dozen women made elaborate hats.Pink was a popular choice. Gerry Andrews said it has become her favorite color since surviving breast cancer two times.The group sipped nonalcoholic mint juleps, sang "My Old Kentucky Home," and did Derby-themed activities.The Women's Cancer Support Group meets once a month at Gnaden Huetten.
