In the mood to listen to a vast array of musical styles in a cozy atmosphere?

Those who are can catch the start of Lehighton's 2017 Music in the Park series this weekend in the Lehighton Park Amphitheater.The Music in the Park Series will kick off at 4 p.m. Saturday with a performance by Jean and American Dream, which performs country, pop, blues and oldies.Clark Ritter, chairman of the Lehighton Parks and Recreation Board, said the series will be held twice a month on Saturdays, and will feature a variety of music."I wanted to try to get something for everybody," Ritter said. "The idea is to keep people interested in our community."In the event of rain, concerts will be moved to 110 N.
