Third St., Palmerton. The event will be held from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday.Jerusalem UCCMother's Day Recognition Sunday will be held at Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), Sunday. Services are held at 9 and 10:15 a.m. The 9 a.m. service is a contemporary service with God's House Band and is a more upbeat service with song, Communion and fellowship. The 10:15 a.m. service is a more traditional service and includes the church choir.Book/Bible study will be held Tuesday evenings, May 23 through June 27 from 7-8:30 p.m. The group will be studying "The Language of God" by Francis Collins. A scientist gives evidence for belief. Come and learn about science and faith in harmony.Looking ahead, the church will hold its annual flea marketJune 9 andJune 10.
