Youth outdoor adventure program registration open

The Delaware River Shad Fishermen's Association and Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association, located on 4190 Wood Drive, Walnutport, are hosting the 11th Annual Youth Outdoor Adventures Program on June 17.

This program is free to the public and available to children ages 8-15.Registrations are being taken now and this program is free.The program is open to 100 students and is filled in the order the registration forms come in.This year the topics will be fishing, ethics, trapping, mason bees, canoe safety, archery, lure making, knot tying, casting and a mystery station.This is a combined effort with many organizations and businesses to provide all the materials and volunteers needed to present the children with safety tips and knowledge about the outdoor activities.The program provides education, awareness, safety and an appreciation of the great outdoors by teaching our future sportsmen and sportswomen skills to enhance their outdoor experiences.To register, log on to
