Stephen L. Holland is seeking re-election to his current seat on the Lehighton School District board of directors.

Holland, retired, has been a school board member for more than three years. He has chaired the district's building and grounds committee and served on both the athletic committee and as an alternate representative to the Carbon Career & Technical Institute joint operating committee.He is married to Geraldine and they have three children, Gregory Holland, Keith Holland and Stephanie Holland; and five grandchildren, Britanie, Emily, Ava, Megan and Garrett."I believe the future of Lehighton starts with giving our students the best education that we can give them," Holland said. "By giving them the proper tools and the best teachers, we will keep moving forward. In the near future, a new elementary center will help get that education each child deserves. Lehighton students want and deserve the very best education that can be given."
