State police at Frackville said a Tamaqua area man has reported a firearm missing.

Troopers said a resident of Mountain Road in Walker Township.The victim reported on April 26-27, he placed his handgun on the floor in the rear of his vehicle and drove to several locations removing items from the rear of the vehicle where he had placed the firearm.After completing his errands for the day, he was unable to locate the firearm.The firearm is described as a Ruger LCP 380-caliber pistol. Anyone who located the gun is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
