Paules announces candidacy for Palmerton school board

Earl Paules is announcing his candidacy in the primary election for Palmerton School Board Director.

Paules has been a resident for 51 years. Born and raised in Kunkletown, he graduated from Palmerton Area High School, where he excelled in the wrestling program. He has been a business owner in the district for the past 18 years. He resides in Palmerton with his wife, Danielle, and stepdaughters, Kailah and Kassidy - both attending the high school in the fall."I would like to represent your voice on the Palmerton school board. I'm an independent thinker with a vision, ethics, strong skills and determination to get things done. I'm always fair and believe that having an unbiased opinion is extremely important in having a successful board."We need to put our students first and start working hard for the benefit of our children. We have to strive to help our students achieve their goals and also make sure our policies help students continue to be successful. Education is the key, and dedication is what is needed."Earl supports the community by assisting in any way possible or donating toward clubs and organizations.He recently assisted with the new scoreboard at the Third Street field. He plans to continue to support the community while on the school board."I will work hard for every student, parent, teacher and resident. I am determined to be sure that the whole community is thought of in making decisions. All decisions that are made should be in the best interest of all taxpayers, students, parents and teachers. I will be honest, open and only agree on things that I think will benefit the school district and the community as a whole. I am looking to be part of a team that is able to work together with respecting opinions. Respect sets the tone for the whole school system."Paules said he would appreciate your consideration in nominating him to serve on the Palmerton School Board."We need to continue to strive to make our school district great again and put Palmerton first!"
