Green seeks re-election as Franklin Township supervisor

Rod E. Green has been a contributing member of the Franklin Township community for nearly 30 years. He has owned his own business for 31 years and served as a zoning officer for three years before becoming a member of the board of supervisors. Over the past 18 years, Green has applied the skills and qualities he has acquired as a successful business owner for the betterment of Franklin Township.

Green's fiscal responsibility, which he developed while running his own business, has been his greatest asset. Under Green's leadership, residents of Franklin Township have seen services maintained and improved while not experiencing a tax increase since 2008. He has overseen the addition of part-time police officers to ensure constant protection and helped to institute a townshipwide recycling program that has prevented garbage costs from rising for local residents since 2009. Green's recent focus has been on the revitalization of Phifer's Ice Dam Park to provide a safe outdoor space for the children and residents of Franklin Township. If elected to another term, Green will continue to make Franklin Township a beautiful and affordable place to live. His proven track record is a testament to the honesty, integrity and responsibility he brings to the board and what residents will continue to receive as he works to further improve and update utility systems and services.
