A hot meal to those in need of nourishment and a word of encouragement is set for 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday. This fair is free and is a joint project with the West End Open Space Commission.The Pennsylvania State Police will fingerprint children and the West End Fire Company and the Ambulance Association will have their equipment available to view. A fire safety or simulated smoke house from the Tobyhanna Army Depot will be available to demonstrate safe ways to escape a house fire; Pocono Medical Center will check blood pressure; and the West End Health Care Center will be represented and there will be lots free literature.
