Senior CenterThe Panther Valley Senior Center will be closed May 1-12 due to the Carbon County Senior Games. It will reopen on May 15.The center also announced its activities for May 15-31.Music Together will take place at 10:30 a.m. May 15 followed by trivia at 11:30; there will be a Sunshine Meeting at 10 a.m. and blood pressure screenings at 11 a.m. May 16; Birthday Bingo at 11 a.m. May 17; Scattergories at 11 a.m. May 18; and a movie and popcorn at 10 a.m. May 19.Music Together will be held at 10:30 a.m. with trivia at 11:30 a.m. May 22; Nickel-keeno at 11 a.m. May 23; a lottery bingo at 11 a.m. May 24; Name that Tune at 11 a.m. May 25; a Mohegan Sun Casino bus trip on May 26, call the center for details.The center will be closed on May 29 in observance of Memorial Day; an indoor picnic and cake walk will be held on May 30; and pay Bingo at 11 a.m. May 31.For more information or to sign up, call Fran Craigie, senior center operator, at 570-669-9930.New members are always welcome.
