A Palmerton woman pleaded guilty to two counts of driving under the influence on Monday in Carbon County court.

She was one of five to plead to drunken driving charges before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.Alcohol/drugsPatricia Lynn Moyer, 54, pleaded to drunken driving for an incident on Sept. 22, 2015, along White Street in Bowmanstown. State police at Lehighton responded to a crash involving Moyer. A test revealed a 0.15 BAC.The second arrest occurred on Oct. 3, 2015, along Route 209 in Towamensing Township. Troopers stopped her for erratic driving. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.The two arrests brings her total convictions for DUI to three. Nanovic told her she is facing a minimum of one year in jail under mandatory sentencing guidelines.Defense Attorney Gregory Lee Mousseau, chief public defender, told the court his client is struggling with mental health issues and is currently on medication for her problems.Nanovic deferred sentencing so Moyer can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.Other pleasJames Allen Miltenberger, 43, of Wrightsville, York County, was arrested on Oct. 22by state police at Lehighton along Pohopoco Drive in Towamensing Township. A test revealed a 0.16 BAC. He also pleaded to a summary motor vehicle violation.Nanovic sentenced him to serve five days to six months in jail, a fine of $500 and one-year license suspension. On the summary charge he was fined $25 and costs.He will begin the jail term at noon on April 28 and serve two days; then on May 5 at noon and serve three days.Justine Robert Mazur, 43, of East Stroudsburg, was arrested on Aug. 6along Sunny Rest Road in Towamensing Township by state police at Lehighton. He refused a blood test. He also pleaded to one count of disorderly conduct. He became unruly at the state police barracks, where he exposed himself.Nanovic deferred sentencing so Mazur can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.Chad Michael Hartranft, 41, of Lehighton, was arrested on March 3, 2015, along Route 248 in Lower Towamensing Township by state police at Lehighton following a stop for speeding. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.Hartranft was previously placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program for first-time offenders but was revoked for violating conditions.Nanovic sentenced him to serve 72 hours to six months in jail, a fine of $1,000 and a one-year license suspension.He was given credit for one day spent in jail on the charge. He will begin serving the remaining two days at 6 p.m. April 28.Rashard Hakeem Wilkerson, 31, of Allentown, was arrested on Nov. 20along Route 248 at Bowmanstown by state police at Lehighton. A test revealed a 0.14 BAC.A first offense, he was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300.Miltenberger, Wilkerson and Hartranft must also pay court costs of about $1,000, a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole and follow all recommendations of their blood and alcohol evaluation.
