Tamaqua's Tanner McHugh will continue his academic and athletic career at Baldwin Wallace in Ohio.
McHugh plans on wrestling for the Yellow Jackets.The four-year wrestler at Tamaqua set a school record with 144 career wins and was a two-time state medal winner. He finished eighth at states as a junior and was sixth this past season. He also captured a district title during his senior year.McHugh, who resides in New Ringgold, is a member of National Honor Society, the Biology Club, and is a math tutor.The son of Karen and Rodney McHugh plans to major in accounting.
