Kidder Township supervisors

Kidder Township supervisors, last week, paid bills in the amount of $169,162.09.

Of that total, $61,302.95 was dispersed to the township's two fire companies and the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad.The supervisors also approved a motion to divide the emergency services funds earmarked for the township's fire companies 50/50 between the two remaining fire companies. The Kidder Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 is no longer active in the township.There will be a public hearing before the May supervisor's meeting to discuss changes to the township's zoning ordinance. The public meeting will begin at 6:30

p.m.May 18.The supervisors also agreed to waive the special events permit fee for a flea market to be held at the Pine Point Plaza on May 27 for the benefit of the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad.The rescue squad is trying to raise funds to purchase a LUCAS chest compression system.
