Four people facing drunken driving charges entered guilty pleas on Tuesday in Carbon County court to driving under the influence.

Judge Joseph J. Matika accepted the pleas from the following:Bernard Joseph Stianche, 58, of Nesquehoning, was arrested on March 30, 2016, along Holland Street by Nesquehoning police. A test revealed a 0.31 BAC.Sentencing was deferred so Stianche can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation and apply for placement in the county's Intermediate Punishment program - house arrest - as he is facing a mandatory prison term.Cynthia L. Arthur, 62, of Lansford, was arrested on Jan. 3 at Ridge and Dock streets by Lansford police. She refused a blood test.A first offense, Matika placed her on probation for six months and ordered her to pay a fine of $300, render 25 hours of community service and follow any recommendations of her drug and alcohol evaluation.Arthur Nicholas Pogosian-Rozin, 19, of Darien, Connecticut, was arrested on Dec. 12along interstate 80 in East Side Borough by state police at Fern Ridge. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.Sentencing was deferred so he can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.Timothy Frustieri, 52, of Lansford, was arrested on Jan. 5 along East Patterson Street by Lansford police. A test revealed a 0.24 BAC.A first offense, he was placed on probation for six months and ordered to pay a fine of $300 and follow all recommendations of his drug and alcohol evaluation.Arthur and Frustieri must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation.
