A Northampton woman, a passenger in a fatal motorcycle crash that took the life of a Palmerton area man, has died of her injuries sustained in the crash.
The Lehigh County coroners' office said Pamela Kellow, 48, of 557 Washington Ave., died at 12:21 a.m. today at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Coroner Scott Grimm ruled the cause of death was severe head injures and a accident.Kellow was a passenger on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Kevin Letterhouse, 46, of Fireline Rd., that collided with a Chevrolet Equinox at the intersection of Cherryville Road and Locust Drive, in Lehigh Township, Northampton County. The collision occurred at 10:37 p.m. on Friday. Lettehouse was pronounced dead at the scene. He died of multiple blunt-force trauma. Police noted that Letterhouse and Kellow were not wearing helmets.The driver of the Equinox, Michael Mathesz, 62, of Northampton, was not injured.Lehigh Township police are investigating the crash.
