Northern Lehigh School District plans to modernize its high school stage.

The district will accept bids to replace stage curtains, upgrade lighting and stage rigging at the high school until 1 p.m. June 1.Greg Derr, director of support services, said the curtains have reached the end of their life expectancy and are in need of replacement."The stage lighting fixtures use incandescent bulbs, which are becoming increasingly hard to find, and they will be replaced with LED fixtures," Derr said."Because we're changing the lighting, the rigging above it needs to be changed."Derr said the project is built into the 2017-18 budget as a long-range maintenance item.To arrange a site visit, call 610-767-9807.
