The Pale Moon Players will stage their latest theatrical production. The comedy, "Making God Laugh," will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, as well as April 28 and 29 at Grace Lutheran Church, Fourth and Mahoning streets in Lehighton. Doors open at 7 p.m.
"Making God Laugh" tells the story of a modern-day family over the course of 30 years, starting in the fall of 1980. Although Mom, Dad and their three adult children - an actor, a priest and an ex-jock - crack wise on each other every chance they get, we learn through their holiday gatherings that underneath it all they are a true family.The Pale Moon Players recommend "Making God Laugh" for audience members age 13 and up.The Pale Moon Players are a community theater group in Lehighton that has been producing shows since 2012. Co-founded by Dave and Laurel Zimmerman and Bob Fatzinger, it stages four productions each year.The Pale Moon Players believe that a part of a healthy community is having a strong and active appreciation of the arts, and the goal is to foster that type of culture to better the community.For tickets or for more information, contact
