The second annual Tamaqua Community Empty Bowl Dinner will be held on May 6 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenwood and Mauch Chunk streets in Tamaqua.

Hosted by Zion's Outreach Team, the dinner will be held from 1-6 p.m. and is one of the events planned for the Tamaqua Community Hunger Weekend and Walk.Diners will have three options - a soup pass for $5, which allows the holder to choose one bowl of soup from those offered; a Super Soup Pass for $10, which allows a diner to sample as many soups as they wish; and a Super Soup Bowl Pass for $15, which allows as many soup samplings as desired along with a hand crafted bowl to take home.
