Mahoning Township's board of supervisors voted upon the following items at Wednesday's meeting:

• A motion to advertise to receive bids for fuel and road materials was approved.• A motion to host a recycling event with Responsible Recycling Services was approved. The board has tentatively scheduled the event for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on June 14 at the township office.• In a personnel matter, a "Heart and Lung Act" request for Amie Barclay, an officer injured in the line of duty, was approved.- Brian Myszkowski
