The Nesquehoning Ambulance Corp is presently conducting its 2017-18 subscription drive. The $20-per-person subscription is valid from June 1 through May 31, 2018.

It covers out-of-pocket expenses above what your insurance pays on emergency ambulance transportation.If the subscriber does not have medical insurance coverage, the entire cost of the emergency transport will be covered.Children under the age of 18 residing in the home of the subscriber will be covered at no additional costs.In addition, your subscription will be honored by the Lehighton Ambulance Association our primary ALS provider. A subscription will not be valid until payment is received.Due to the increased frequencies of calls for lifting assistance, the Nesquehoning Ambulance will provide the subscriber with one free visit. An additional request during the subscription period, the subscriber will be charged a fee of $75 per occurrence.Nonsubscribers will be charged and responsible for costs not covered by the insurance carrier.The Nesquehoning Ambulance Corp does accept donations and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. Any amounts submitted which are less than the stated subscription amount will be considered a donation and not a subscription, and the benefits of a subscription will not apply.The Nesquehoning Ambulance Corp is the primary provider of BLS Emergency service for the borough of Nesquehoning and is an independent nonprofit organization that is staffed entirely by volunteers.Anyone who has not received a subscription packet is encouraged to contact the Ambulance Corp at 570-669-6684 and one will be mailed to you.
