New members of Marian Catholic High School's French and Spanish National Honor Societies were inducted during a special Mass held at the school's Hometown complex.
The Rev. Ronald Minner served as officiant, with French Honor Society officers Camryn Wheeler, president, and Natalia Konitzer, vice president, also taking part.The 15 honorees received certificates from Peter Sanfilippo, Marian dean of students. Society moderators are Maureen Heffelfinger, French, and Deborah Coles, Spanish.Officers of the Spanish Honor Society are: Sophia Damian, president; Madison Stoyer, vice president; Angela Grega, secretary; Colleen Gallagher, treasurer.The newest member of the French Honor Society is Sarah Michaesko, a sophomore.Sophomores inducted into the Spanish Honor Society are: Zachary Boyer, Nicole Capparell, Meghan Darrough, Courtney Kovatch, Keith McCall, Emma McClafferty, Alexa Murray, Seth Paluck, Lindsay Salazer, Christian Smith, Lidia Sokorda, Kate Spillman, Jace Whitaker, Antonina Zeleniak.
