April 11, 1996 - Karyn Kern captures four events, while Nick Konowalik and Bill Mackey both win three to help Pleasant Valley sweep East Stroudsburg in a Mountain Valley Conference track meet. Kern takes all three jumping events (high, long, triple) and the 400 as the Lady Bears cruise to a 103-37 victory. Siobhan Lee (100, 200) and Dee O'Connell (javelin, shot put) both pick up a pair of wins. Konowalik collects firsts in the high and triple jumps, and the 400, while Mackey breaks the tape in the 100 and the 110 and 300 hurdles as the PV boys gain an 85-65 victory. Others win multiple wins include Keith Kutzler (long jump, javelin) and John Blick (discus, shot put).
