Carbon inmate charged after failure to return to prison

A Carbon County inmate who was attending a rehabilitation program faces a new charge after he didn't return to the prison after failing a rehab program.

Bradley Zettlemoyer, 33, current address the correctional facility, was charged on April 3 by Nesquehoning police with escape.According to the affidavit, on April 3, officer Richard Neikam was notified that Zettlemoyer, who was attending the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg as part of his sentence, was being discharged before completing the program. Zettlemoyer had been at the center since Feb. 22.He was there by court order, which said that if he failed to complete the program, he was to return to the Carbon County Correctional Facility.Lansford police contacted Zettlemoyer's probation officer regarding the discharge and learned that he failed to return to the prison after being discharged on April 1.
