Schuylkill County Agricultural Museum is sponsoring Plow Day 2017 on May 6, across the street from Heisler's Cloverleaf Dairy, which is located at 743 Catawissa Road in Tamaqua. There is no rain date.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and plowing begins at 10 a.m.There will be plowing demonstrations with antique tractors, horses and mules throughout the day. A judged competition will take place at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.Those interested in demonstrating their plowing abilities are welcome and may find more information on how to participate by contacting Craig at 570-739-2446 or Darin at 570-366-1989. The event is free and the public is welcome; donations will be appreciated. Wagon rides will be available to take people attending the event to view the activities.
