Easter events

• The Towamensing Township Volunteer Fire Company Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 10 a.m. to noon April 8. There will be three age groups for the hunt and various prizes.

• The Nesquehoning Recreation Commission will hold a breakfast with the Easter bunny for borough children at 10 a.m. April 8 at the recreation center.• An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Palmerton Memorial Park at 11 a.m. April 8 in the grove. Please park in the big parking lot behind the pool and walk down to grove. The egg hunt is for ages newborn to age 10.• An Easter Egg Hunt will be held in the Palmerton Borough Park at 1 p.m. April 8. The egg hunt is for ages up to 12.• Rush Township will hold its Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. April 8 at Miller Park, weather permitting.• Weissport will hold an Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. April 8 in the borough park for children and grandchildren of borough residents.• Bethany EC, Lehighton, community egg hunt,2 p.m. April 8 in Lehighton Upper Park.• St. Matthew's UCC in Kunkletown will host its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt starting at 1

p.m.April 15 in the church grove. Children up to 12 years old are invited to a fun two-hour event featuring egg hunt, games, crafts, prizes and bounce house. For more information, contact Staci at 610-951-4214 or
