The Jim Thorpe Police Department and the Jim Thorpe Community Watch will be offering free training tilted "Techsmart."
Techsmart is a training that informs adult caregivers about the risks and safeguards concerning the use of social media by kids. Topics include cyberbullying, sexting, child predators and oversharing of personal information. Dangerous behaviors will be described as well as ways for adults to protect the kids in their life from these dangers.The program will be held at 6:30
