A number of defendants scheduled for preliminary hearings before District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, elected to have their charges waived directly to Schuylkill County court.
Michael Harley, 27, of Tamaqua, is facing one charge each of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with Feb. 23 incident.He was released on his own recognizance.Leanna Vidzicki, 32, of Tamaqua, faces one misdemeanor count of providing false identification to an officer, in connection with a Jan. 24 incident. Charges were filed by Tamaqua Police. She was released on her own recognizance.NethanielShea,35, no address, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI- controlled substance, and providing false identification to a police officer after an incident on Dec. 7. Charges were filed by Coaldale Police.He is currently incarcerated at Schuylkill County Prison after being arrested on unrelated charges in December.Ronald Allen Zimmerman,47, of Tamaqua, was charged with driving under the influence with a BAC of at least 0.16, after an incident that occurred March 6. Charges were filed by Tamaqua Police.He was released on his own recognizance.Daryl L. Greenawalt,53, of Lansford, faces charges of Driving under the influence with a BAC of at least 0.16, after an incident on Nov. 12. Charges were filed by Lansford Police.A bench warrant was issued for the following defendants:Nicholas Haspe,26, of Lansford, was charged with two counts of possessing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a Jan. 7 incident. Charges were filed by Coaldale Police.Charges were held for court, and a bench warrant was issued for Haspe's arrest.
