The menu for the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of April 3 is as follows:Monday: chicken and sausage bake or tuna sandwichTuesday: glazed pork roast or bacon ranch saladWednesday: turkey and dumplings or egg salad sandwichThursday: beef burgundy or chicken craisin saladFriday: fish piccata or beef and cheddar sandwichTo sign up for lunch, call by 10:30 a.m. the day before.The Panther Valley Senior Center has also announced upcoming events in April.Music Together will take place at 10:30 a.m. on April 3; Scattergories will be at 11 a.m. on April 4; bingo at 11 a.m. on April 5; Name that Tune at 11 a.m. on April 6 and a pizza party at 11 a.m. on April 7.For the week of April 10, trivia will be held at 11:15 a.m. on April 10; there will be a sunshine meeting at 10 a.m. and horse races at 11 a.m. on April 11; birthday and bingo will be held at 11 a.m. on April 12; and a trip to Boscovs will be at 9:30 a.m. and trivia at 11 a.m. on April 13. The center will be closed on April 14 in observance of Good Friday.An Easter party will be held at 11 a.m. on April 17; bingo will be held at 11 a.m. on April 18; a trip to Hollywood Casino will be at 10 a.m. on April 19; and movie and popcorn will take place at 10 a.m. on April 21.Senior Games practice will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on April 20 and 27.For more information or to sign up, see Fran Craigie, senior center operator, at 570-669-9930.
