Tamaqua High School's Daylon Barron will continue his academic and athletic career at Marywood University.
Barron will play baseball at Marywood.A four-year member of the Tamaqua varsity baseball team, Barron has lettered each of the three previous seasons and was a key member of the 2014 Raider District 11 championship team. He also lettered in football his junior year.At Tamaqua, Barron is president of the Biology Club and a member of student government. He also belongs to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.Daylon is the son of Chad Barron and Katie Orlick and lives in New Ringgold. He plans to major in physician assistant studies at Marywood.
