A hearing has been set for a Carbon County resident found to be in possession of drugs.

Mahoning Township Police said that at 11:18 p.m. Feb. 6, an arrest warrant was served at the home of Ashly Tansley, 28, of Jamestown Street.At the home, police seized syringes and heroin packets.Tansley has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.Tansley's preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 12.
