• East Penn Township recreation board will host its annual Easter egg hunt at the Ashfield Playground starting at 1 p.m. April 1.
• Care Net holds Fling into Spring from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 1 at the Big Creek Grange, 275 Grange Road, Lehighton. Free Easter egg hunt with prizes: ages 0-2 at noon; ages 3-5 at 12:30 p.m.; ages 6-8 at 1 p.m.; and ages 9-12 at 1:30 p.m. Easter story with Ally will be at 2 p.m. Event includes crafters and vendors, basket auction, games, coloring contest, and food and beverages.
