Each day in America, 22 veterans commit suicide.

In 14 years of conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan have resulted in approximately 6,000 U.S. combat deaths. In that same period of time, the next 14 years, an estimated 112,000 military men and women will die by suicide.Mission 22 is coordinating the War at Home Memorial, a mobile monument with a steel plate created in the likeness of a real American veteran who lost the battle with PTSD. Details about their lives and service will be described in an inscription located at the base of each plate.
