The Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society Telethon Committee will host its annual Chinese auction on Sunday.

Doors open at 11:30

a.m.at Lakeside Ballroom, located on Route 54 in Barnesville. The auction drawing begins at 2:30 p.m.There will be chances to win selective raffle prizes and 50/50 drawings. Food, fresh baked goods and candy will be available for purchase and Polka Joe Manjack from WMGH will perform live from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Some of the top prizes on the specially purchased "white ticket" include a Microsoft Surface Pro-4, Phantom P3 Done HD Video Camera, $1,000 cash prize, Fire Tablet, Disney Hopper passes, Fitbit Charge 2, iPad Air 2, Basket of Cheer, gift certificate for fuel oil, gas gift card, vacations, movies for a year, a 50-inch Smart TV, and gift cards.Proceeds will be presented at the annual ACS Telethon that airs April 8 and 9 at Penn's Peak and will be broadcast live on BRC TV-13 and Service Electric Cable TV.The public is invited to attend the telethon.
