St. Patrick's Day was not a lucky day for two people caught with a quantity of illegal drugs and a large sum of U.S. currency.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said that around 1 p.m. on Friday, as part of an ongoing drug investigation, they arrested Matthew Holland, 31, of Prices Drive, Mountainhome, Monroe County, and Rebecca Stone, 29, of Willow Street, Moscow, Lackawanna County, in a parking area of a laundromat in Canadensis, Barrett Township.Police located over 200 glassine baggies containing suspected heroin and about $2,000 in cash. Police also seized drug paraphernalia, a knife and cellphones of the two suspects.Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, unlawful use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of instruments of crime, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal conspiracy-possession with intent to deliver.
