Schuylkill County court - Guilty pleas

Schuylkill County judges have accepted guilty pleas from these people charged by local police.

Phillip M. Ryan IV, 28, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one each of resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.He was charged by Tamaqua police with resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not authorized, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on July 22, 2016.Judge Charles M. Miller sentenced Ryan to serve 12 months on probation, to be served consecutive to a current sentence for recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not authorized, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple assault, criminal trespass-enter structure, criminal trespass-break into structure, and burglary on Oct. 2 in Tamaqua.In that case, Ryan was sentenced to 153 days to 18 months in jail by Judge John E. Domalakes.Alexis R. Acosta, 22, of McAdoo, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.Miller sentenced him to 12 months on probation.Additional charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, indecent exposure and public drunkenness were dropped.Acosta was charged by McAdoo police on June 11, 2016.Chris S. Caldwell, 39, of Lehighton, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.Miller sentenced him to six months on probation, and fined him $300.Tamaqua police charged Caldwell on Nov. 14, 2015.Sarina Gillott, 26, of New Ringgold, pleaded guilty to making false reports to law enforcement.Miller sentenced her to 12 months on probation.She was charged by state police at Frackville on Feb. 10, 2015.Gordon Machay, 41, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to harassment.Miller sentenced him to six months on probation.Machay was charged by Tamaqua police on July 28, 2016.Christopher Blevins, 50, of Tamaqua pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and disorderly conduct on March 23, 2015, in Coaldale. He was charged by borough police.A charge of resisting arrest was dropped.Miller sentenced Blevins to 72 hours to six months in jail, followed by 12 months on probation; fined him $1,000, and ordered him to perform 10 hours of community service.Blevins' sentence starts at 9 a.m. March 24.Jesse M. Lincovich, 35, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.He was charged by Tamaqua police on July 8, 2016.President Judge William E. Baldwin sentenced her to one to six months in jail.Crystal J. Milner, 30, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.She was charged by Tamaqua police on July 20, 2016.Baldwin sentenced her to 16 to 32 months in state prison.Kimberly J. Parliament-Dutill, 50, of Barnesville, pleaded guilty to retail theft.Baldwin sentenced her to three to 12 months on house arrest with electronic monitoring.She was charged by state police at Schuylkill Haven on July 5, 2016.Nathan T. Startzel, 22, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.Baldwin sentenced him to one to two years in state prison.Additional charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility were dropped.Gina L. Thompson, 52, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to retail theft.Baldwin sentenced her to 24 months on probation.Thompson was charged by St. Clair police on Sept. 25, 2015.Joshua D. Joseph, 31, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance.Baldwin sentenced him to 12 months on probation.An additional charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana was dropped.Joseph was charged by Mahanoy City police on June 2, 2016.Kenneth K. Kisekka, 31, of McAdoo, pleaded guilty to the illegal operation of a vehicle without an ignition interlock.Baldwin sentenced him to 12 months on probation. An additional charge of driving an unregistered vehicle was dropped.Kisekka was charged by state police at Jonestown on Aug. 5, 2016.Robert H. O'Hazzo Jr., 22, of McAdoo, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.Baldwin sentenced him to 72 hours to six months in jail, fined him $1,000, and ordered him to perform 10 hours of community service.O'Hazzo was charged by Mahanoy City police on Oct. 18, 2015.Crystal Koshmeider, 31, of McAdoo, pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault.Judge John E. Domalakes sentenced her to 12 months on probation.Additional charges of terroristic threats, defiant trespass, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and harassment were dropped.She was charged by McAdoo police on June 19, 2016.Paul W. Ford, 35, of Tamaqua, pleaded no contest to corruption of minors.Domalakes sentenced him to five years on probation and ordered him to have no contact with the victim. Two counts of indecent assault were dropped.Ford was charged by Tamaqua police on Jan. 1, 2016.
