State police at Schuylkill Haven said on Thursday a homeon Stoney Run Road in North Manheim Township, was burglarized. It is believed unknown criminals entered the residence through an unlocked side garage door. A resident of the home returned and entered the residence.

The resident then heard voices and footsteps upstairs while she sat in the living room.The resident left the home and ran to a neighbor's home and called police.The resident told troopers while waiting from them to arrive she observed an upstairs bedroom light had been turned off and on.Troopers entered the home and found no one inside. It is believed the criminals fled through a rear sliding door which leads to a deck.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
