Jonathan Moorer, 31, of East Stroudsburg, who fled police and crashed his car, faces charges after being caught with drugs and cash. Pocono Mountain Regional Police said Moorer was driving a vehicle that they attempted to pull over because it did not have a registration plate on it.

The vehicle turned onto Simmons Road in Coolbaugh Township, which is a dead end, drove down a driveway and hit a residence that was occupied.He crashed into a thick wooded area, got out of the car and ran off.A K-9 unit caught him and placed him into custody.Police said he had large amounts of bulk high-grade marijuana, ecstasy pills and a large amount of cash.Police charged him with fleeing and eluding police, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication device, resisting arrest, recklessly endangering another person and possession of instruments of a crime.
