Two GoFundMe accounts have been set up for the families who lost their homes during a two-alarm fire in Nesquehoning earlier this week.

The fire started at 11 E. High St., early Tuesday morning and spread to four houses on the block, displacing two families.Fire crews from across Carbon and Schuylkill counties responded to the blaze.The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Nesquehoning fire Chief John McArdle said Friday, noting that it may be weeks until an investigation can be completed due to the snow at the fire scene and inside the buildings.The EmmertsAccording to one GoFundMe by Kyle Emmert, he and his father, Rich, lived in one of the homes."The fire damaged and destroyed a total of four homes," he wrote. "Our house is no longer livable leaving us and our two dogs without a home at a pretty rough time of the year. "Rilan races Motocross, and might I add, has a promising career. This dedicated young man spends nearly every weekend in New Jersey at Dan Callahan MX school."Rilan's hard work and dedication shows both on and off the track.
