St. Luke's Miners Campus in Coaldale is sponsoring a series of continuing education sessions on a variety of health topics. The sessions will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the third Friday of every month.

Starting this month, a session on drug and alcohol awareness, recognition and reaction, will be held on Friday.Other sessions will be:April 21 - safe driving tips;May 19 - better hearing and speech, when a whisper becomes a roar;June 16 - laughter is the best medicine;July 21 - National Parks and recreation, enjoy the outdoors safely using an assistive device;Aug. 18 - diabetes awareness;Sept. 15 - to flu or not to flu;Oct. 20 - National Physical Therapy Month, physical therapy and public awareness;Nov. 17 - foot health care awareness;Dec. 15 - what is A-fib all about?All sessions will be held in the first floor community room.
