While Stella may keep many people homebound, members of Save Carbon County will push through the blizzard's aftermath in order to challenge the PennEast/UGI pipeline.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the group said that Wednesday's bus trip to Washington Crossing State Park to attend a Delaware River Basin Commission meeting is still on.Save Carbon County stated that the pipeline project's application for a DRBC permit should not go forward until "PennEast/UGI has corrected the misinformation and omissions in their Draft Environmental Impact Study.""It is a waste of time and resources to consider the PennEast/UGI permit with the information currently available. As they say, 'Garbage In/Garbage Out,'" spokesperson Linda Christman said.According to the group's statement, the pipeline project "will cross 53 waterways and wetlands causing extensive damage." PennEast/UGI is asking permission to withdraw up to 45.3 million gallons of water from the Delaware Basin.As of Tuesday evening, the DRBC website has stated that the meeting, previously scheduled for 10:30 a.m., had been pushed back to 2 p.m. The commission warned that the meeting is still subject to cancellation due to weather and travel conditions, which would be posted on the DRBC website,
