This is a model railroad, toy train and railroadiana sale for the serious and amateur railroad and model train collectors.Refreshments will be available. There will be door prizes and parking is free.Community mealA free community meal will be served from 4-6 p.m. March 23 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 365 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. All are invited to enjoy a meal and fellowship.Holy Trinity LutheranHoly Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton will hold worship services with Holy Communion at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. A council meeting will be held at 6 p.m.Joint midweek Lenten services on March 22 will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew's. Each week there will be a time of fellowship with light refreshments so that everyone from both congregations can get to know one another.Emmanuel dinnerEmmanuel United Church of Christ, 509 Hamilton St., Bowmanstown, will hold a ham and dandelion dinner from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturday. Snow date is Sunday. The menu is ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, dandelion with homemade bacon dressing, gravy, bread and dessert. The theme is "Put Your Best Fork Forward."Registered dietitians will offer product tastings and samples, nutrition information and door prizes. No registration is required.BreakfastAn all you can eat breakfast will be held at the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club, 525 Club Road, Palmerton from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday.
