A Nesquehoning man is facing charges of harassment after he threatened his ex-wife's friend last year.

According to an affidavit filed by Nesquehoning police officer Timothy Wuttke, the charges against Randy Krause, 33, of Loggie Road, stem from a phone call between Krause and another man, on Nov. 29.The victim told police that he was with Krause's wife at the time, who was then in the process of divorcing him, when he received a phone call from Krause after he found out the two were together.Krause threatened that if he saw the man on the street, he would shoot him. The victim noted this wasn't the first time Krause threatened him.Wuttke then spoke with the woman, who confirmed the threats against the victim, and said that when she lived with Krause, he did not have any guns, but had talked about getting a concealed carry permit and gun.She also expressed her concern about Krause's increasing violent nature and threats as of late.Following the interview, Wuttke called Krause and he denied making any threats, the affidavit states.A preliminary hearing before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek was scheduled last week.
