Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Theft:James McMurray, 35, of Nesquehoning, was charged with identity theft, access device fraud, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, and another count of access device fraud, for an incident Jan. 18 in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue.Christopher Smith, 30, of Palmerton, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, for an incident December 2016 in the 400 block of Columbia Avenue.Michael Smith, 25, of Palmerton, was charged with retail theft, for an incident March 3 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Citations:Police also issued four citations for maximum gross weight, two for speeding, two for vehicle violations, one for a traffic violation.
