The Palmerton Area Democratic Club has canceled its scheduled meeting on Tuesday.

Instead, "Issues Facing Palmerton" has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. May 9.The group's next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 11 at the Palmerton Hotel, 302 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.The program will be "A Report from the PA Democratic State Committee and NE Regional Meeting" with Carbon County E-Board Chairman Billy O'Gurek, as well as state committee person attorney Carole Walbert.For more information about the PADC, contact club President Sarina Berlow at 610-597-0106, or
