St. John's LutheranSt. John's is having a Reformation 500 Bookstore.The 500th anniversary of the Reformation is this year.Stop by the Reformation 500 Bookstore to shop for engaging books on the Reformation for readers of all ages and interests. Save up to 50 percent plus receive free shipping on all Bookstore titles. The books include best-selling biographies like Luther the Reformer as well as an atlas of the European Reformations, a graphic novel for young readers, and primary sources from The Annotated Luther series.Stop by St. John's on Wednesdays (before or after 7 p.m. service) or Sundays (before or after 9 a.m. service). This is not a fundraiser, neither the church nor the pastor receive any reimbursement. The bookstore is sponsored by Augsburg Fortress, the publishing ministry of the ELCA.Golden AgersThe Panther Valley Golden Agers are scheduled to meet at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church Social Hall, weather permitting. If the meeting is canceled, members will be notified. Hospitality for the meeting will be Mary Ann Maynard and Dee Neifert.Since the meeting is close to St. Patrick's Day, members are asked to wear green.
